Graphic 45 Time to Flourish number 11 April..
Over the next couple of days I will post a few cards I made with Graphic 45 Time to celebrate, this time the two April sheets. I used a card front for this one, and did some fussy cutting, and just added a seam binding bow.In the craft room meanwhile I still have simple stories on the table ,left there from the weekend, and I am determined to finish all the bits and pieces I have left – so far I have made 25 cards with that paper ( not counting the 10 I have made for a class in may) .. I am inspired with that paper! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Spring bloom

When sorting out my papers I came across some Kaisercraft Spring Bloom paper so quickly put all tidying on hold to make up a couple of cards while inspiration was upon me!The top card just uses the papers and matching collectables, while the bottom card uses a cut out that I did on my Cricut machine and the forever young cartridge.I also used some wee flowers and a leaf and butterfly punch for this one.I kept some of the paper but a lot of it has now gone into a bag to sell at the craft fair in June. It’s tough, but decisions have to be made or else I can’t buy more!speaking of which, I finally got kaisercrafts blue bay, and Betsy’s couture range this week, so something new to play with!Til tomorrow….
Prima Seashore collection number 2
First of all and straight off the bat, a mistake! last nights post wasn’t Kaisercraft sandy toes …it was Prima Seashore collection!A mistake on my part, and I can only blame tiredness.. working retail at Christmas is taking it’s toll, and I am so glad I only have one more day before a 4 day break.So. Tonights card is also Prima Seashore collection – the 12 x 12 papers, and I used a stampin up boat stamp on the paper panel, and added a little more blue distress ink around the stamped image. A bit of fussy cutting and a piece of linen thread to finish.Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft basecoat Christmas 3 and 4

Two more cards made from Kaisercraft Basecoat Christmas collection. Simple and straightforward – just what I like for Christmas cards when I have to post so many! I used the matching collectables and some ribbon trim and buttons on these ones. To make sure the buttons don’t get crushed in the post I will pop a little bubble wrap over them before putting in the post.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft basecoat Christmas

As promised we are back to Christmas cards today, using Kaisercraft basecoat Christmas paper collection. The top card only uses the basecoat as a layer, and one of the collectables. the images in the centre of the card are from a piece of paper I picked up at a craft fair – from memory it was by feature art. The bottom card is all basecoat and I took inspiration for this card from the kaisercraft magazine that came out the month this paper was released.day off today, so after the usual grocery shopping I have spent most of the morning in the craft room playing with some papers (graphic 45 raining cats and dogs) that I have had for a while but not had time to do anything with! Til tomorrow….
How I feel about casing…
An extra post today. I have discovered that I have inadvertently been involved in a heated discussion about cardmakers copying fellow card makers cards, then entering them in competions. From what I can gather someone did this with one of my designs, and won. I have never made any secret of the fact, that is what my blog is about.I feel if I didn’t want my cards copied I wouldn’t post them on here. This is my hobby and if my ideas inspire fellow cardmakers, all to the good.If I find a cheaper/easier /new way to do something, then yes I am going to share it!To those cardmakers who don’t want their ideas copied – don”t post them on the internet! having said all that ..if I do case a card and show it here I always tell you you here where I cased it from .. it’s only fair that the original artist get recognition. Enough from me for now, normal blogging will commence later today.
Graphic 45 by the sea
A quick post before I leave for work this morning.. Graphic 45 By the sea paper collection with lots of fussy cutting and layering. The cardstock is stamping up, and that’s all the products I used on this one. Love this range but haven’t had the time to really create with it yet, too busy with christmas cards! til tomorrow…..
Echo Park/Graphic 45 Transatlantique
This paper collection is unique because it is a collaboration between two paper houses – echo park and graphic 45.I have made quite a few cards from this paper, but this is the only one that made it to be photographed – the others all sold before the camera came out!I have layered a couple of pieces, wrapped one layer in twine, and added craftworks candii to the corners. The sentiment stamp is stampin up. I must see what i have left of this paper and make some more! til tomorrow…..
Graphic 45 Mothert Goose 3 and 4
