After mastering the previous pleating technique, I stepped it up and tried aone that was a little more difficult. Lots of measuring on this one, but well worth the effort for the finished product.I am just hoping as I sit here that i have filed away the measurements! As the paper I used was so close to the background layer I inked the edges of the pleats to define it a little bit.The flowers I added were from Kaisercraft and i added a punched leaf and a ribbon bow to finish.The paper collection is Kaisercraft True Romance, and older release ,but one of my favourites.I have a really sore shoulder today, and not much use of my right arm, so I think the craft room is out of the question this weekend,looks like a reading weekend for relaxation! Hello Helen……This is a beautiful Card! Love the pleating, it looks like a lot of work to accomplish those pleats, you did a wonderful job! You have my admiration! Lovely papers too, Kaisercraft really have some beautiful sets of Papers, its so hard to resist buying them. I just ordered some “Ooh La La” can’t wait to get them. Thank you too for all the lovely Christmas Cards you posted recently, I enjoyed looking at them all, I am trying to catch up, been a “little under the weather” lately! Hi Janice, sorry to hear you have been under the weather.I love the Ooh La la paper and have bought the whole range, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet( although I do use it in my class for november) as I have been knee deep in Christmas cards . I think though that I have finally made enough of them and hopefully this week will get a chance to start on that gorgeous paper. I have rested my shoulder all weekend – no craft room for me 😦 and I do feel an improvement, I am on holidays for a couple of weeks so it will get a good rest before the busy period of Christmas at work.
